This couple and their friends were out for the day enjoying the water on a nice boat ride. Then the Coast Guard rolled up out of no where. Suddenly everyone on the boat: Where are the life jackets? Who has the registration? Why is the fire extinguisher from 2003? “Yes sir, we love safety!” 😮 Then the million dollar question- “Is there any alcohol onboard?" Suddenly everyone forgets how to speak English. 😂 I’ve been there a few times. Gotta’ have those life jackets on. Do you think the Coast Guard or game wardens or local police should be concerned with people like this out on the water?

Superfrico is one of the most interesting restaurants in Vegas. The room is quirky on all sides and roving performers visit every few minutes. From contortionists, a moon man, and a massive cow, they keep it really weird in the best way. Sadly, I did not see the bubble man this trip. He’s my favorite. I have sampled most of the menu over the years but this time I splurged on the table-side mozzarella. So, this magician comes out and turns crumbly curds into silky creamy heaven with the best cheese pull you will ever see. This was also the first time I’ve tried the chicken parm and I promise it won’t be the last. I just don’t know how it stays so crispy. Check it out! 📍Stopped by for lunch at the Ukrainian restaurant Kanapa in Podil ✨ The cocktails are just delicious. The food: I definitely recommend borscht. And my favorite deruny (potato pancakes) honestly, I could eat those every day. Desserts… nope, not their strongest side. But the best part was that terrace. This was my first time sitting out there in the summer, and we were lucky to get that best spot right by the edge, overlooking a slope covered in green trees. It felt like you were sitting on a cliff somewhere in the forest, not in the middle of the capital.🌿 If you’re ever in town, you should visit this place.

This lawn care owner hired this young man to weed eat while he drives the mower. As he comes to the back yard he notices him sitting down in the shade under a tree. He asks what he’s doing and he tells the owner he’s taking a break. The owner says there is no break and he needs to get back to work. TUESDAY📍Travelled to Las Vegas to work with my dream brand adidas WEDNESDAY📍Interviewed the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team drivers and had our Q&A broadcasted live on the Las Vegas strip. Followed by attending WhatsApp x Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team ‘Her Turn’ dinner celebrating the incredible women in motorsport. THURSDAY📍Had the honour of hosting the Formula 1 Business Summit panel on Sports & Entertainment, interviewing some of the biggest names in the industry: Steve Hill (CEO & President, LVCVA), Sandra Douglass Morgan (President, Las Vegas Raiders), Jennifer Koester (President & COO, Sphere) & Ross Mollison (Founder, Spiegelworld). Followed by an evening at track with Valtteri Bottas taking me on a hot lap. FRIDAY📍Flew to NYC. SATURDAY📍Arrived in Milan working with DAZN Football covering the Milan Derby buildup. SUNDAY📍Attended the iconic San Siro Stadium creating content with DAZN pitchside. Although I’m not too sure what time zone I’m on and running solely on adrenaline and sugar…. I can’t quite put into words how grateful I am. I truly have the best job in the world and I don’t get to say it enough but it’s because of all of YOU that I get to do this. I didn’t make this series for just a specific group of ppl to watch, I made it for the general audience. Especially going worldwide and overseas too, it made me think even more that the quality of my work, including the script and the production, must be on par with other countries too. So I try not to pressure myself with what ppl want this and that. I’m more pressured about whether my work can meet the standards and quality expected by the platforms that bought our series. And now that they (the clips) are out, one thing that makes me happy is that fans are complimenting the visuals and the script. So I feel like that it means it has reached the standards of Hong Kong and Taiwan, which already bought it. They won’t feel like this is the old-style Thai drama/lakorn but It has become an international series now

Update on the little mange patient🦊🧡: The good news is that she returned and had a good feed last night. Unfortunately the time she visited, some of the resident juveniles were about, so target- feeding medicated chicken was not possible. However, this is progress and I feel it is only a matter of time until I can treat her. I am patient and persistent. Now I just need some luck! 💫 This clip teaches us a lot about fox behaviour: We can see that foxes are fair. They stand up for their territory but if the other fox submits like the little vixen did by ducking down and making cub-like sounds, then she will be left alone. 💞 The footage featuring a malnourished fox with mange right next to a healthy fox who gets fed daily in my garden, also demonstrates the relevance of supplementary feeding foxes. A fox that has their basic needs met will have a strong immune system and will cope with parasites (like the mites that can cause mange) much better than a malnourished fox. 🍗

Failed Robotaxi ride in 91° heat. I LOVE Tesla Tesla Robotaxi and tonight is date night and I was SO EXCITED to take my Wife on an Unsupervised Robotaxi ride for drinks and dinner in Austin. I hailed the ride after “High Service Demand” cleared after ~15mins of trying. A red Model Y shows up with zero Robotaxi markings on it and a guy driving in the front seat. I was immediately let down but we had already waited so long and we needed to reach out destination so we got in. His hands were on the wheel the whole time and it felt like it was last year when the program was just starting. The Supervisor was nice but the ride went sideways. We tried to go to Zanzibar in Austin but the car drove right by the entrance and took us ~a 1/4 mile way out of the way to a residential apartment building. We asked the supervisor what was going on and he called Support and told us to press the support button. Support came on the line and said there was nothing they could do. We had to walk in the 91° heat. We were dressed in nice clothes and shoes not made for walking. My Wife was NOT impressed. I was embarrassed as I had talked up the service so much. On our walk to our destination, we witnessed a Waymo dropping off a rider in the place that we should have been dropped off. Additionally, when we arrived at our destination, hot and sweaty, we saw that there was plenty of room to drop us off. Very frustrating. The best part is, we paid for this experience.

My fox shooting garden defending AI robot is finally done and WORKING! 🤩 (Don’t worry it only shoots 💦 water) After months of slowly moving forward with each part I finished the last step to train a TensorFlow model on the footage of the 🦊 fox I collected hours of footage 📹 with the fox roaming around my garden, from this I labeled around 2000 images with the fox by hand ✋ Honestly, I was quite skeptical training the model was actually gonna work, maybe this was partly the reason I avoided working on this until the very end. If I couldn’t train a model to detect the fox, this whole robot would never be able to function properly. On the flipside though, with no previous experience in hardware or electronics there was a bit of a learning curve and I didn’t want to end up labeling thousands of images, training a TensorFlow model, only to fail on building the hardware. As I started building, I realized that mixing hardware and software adds quite another dimension to debugging things. At times I wasted hours debugging code in my IDE, only to realize the issue was somewhere in the electronics. Furthermore, combining this side project with a full time job and a young family, is not always easy. It can be quite frustrating, to know you only need 4 hours of concentrated effort for a small task, having to spread it out across a week of 20min increments. Then, a few months into the build I noticed the fox had stopped coming to my garden, in fact one day, I recorded her walking with 3 cute little 🐶 pups, and the next day I saw her moving out of my garden completely. Did she know I was building a robot? I had this strange mix of feelings, happy my garden was safe from poop and digging, happy she was safe with her pups, but how was I gonna finish this project if my robot had no fox to detect? For sure they would be back next year, I figured I could postpone the whole thing until next winter, but I also knew it was gonna be much harder to pick up momentum if I did let it sit there for six months. So I decided to keep working, hoping the fox would reappear,.. but she never did. As I finished labeling the footage and started training my model, I could finally see the mAP results, quantifying the precision of my object detection model. It was measuring at 78% across different metrics on detecting my fox. I quickly ran the model on some of the video footage I got from my fox. Inference speed took a hit, but it did a near perfect job detecting the fox, even when she was deep down in the grass or wizzing past in a motion blur. It took me by surprise how well it worked. With the default model I had to drop my confidence threshold way down to 15%, to recognize the fox as 🦜“bird” in one or two frames, with my custom model it followed the fox all the way down to the back of the garden! Still this didn’t solve the issue of there being no actual fox in my garden and how was I gonna wrap this project in a short timeframe. I played with the idea of putting a fox toy 🧸 on an RC 🚗 car, or borrowing a dog to run around the garden to test. Friends suggested I run around the garden in a fox costume.. what a ridiculous idea. I wasn’t really feeling the idea of running around the garden in a floppy cloth fox 🎭 costume, but had a look anyway. I came across these self inflating costumes. This actually could be perfect. Since it’s inflated, it would hold its shape super well, making it much easier to label, train and be recognized by my robot. So I got the costume and shot a time lapse of myself as a fox walking around the garden. I labeled it to around 600 images. Ran the model training again and got a mAP result of 82%. This was even better than my real fox! At this point I knew this was gonna work. So here’s the final 🎥 video, just having some fun with it. I’ll update here whenever the real fox does come back. On a final note, I’m looking for (remote) jobs in these fields of AI now: - object detection - visual generative AI - 3D (nerfs + gaussian splats) So if you know anything let me know! This is my series where I book a standard room at every hotel in Las Vegas and show you everything you need to know. I’m inspecting mattresses, cleanliness, looking for bugs, testing water pressure and smells. No influencer trickery or arranged visits, this is a look at what you can expect at each resort. Next is Luxor. My expectations were very low but this was better than anticipated. First impression was that the room was clean but dated and dusty. Under blacklight was a different story. With a few lysol wipes and some fluid standards, this would work for the guest on a budget looking for an affordable place to just sleep. Luxor remains one of my top five “worst in Vegas” because of the overall condition of the property, but this is not the dirtiest room I’ve seen. Oh, and its allegedly haunted.
