Coming from a Borderlands fan, My GOD that was awful.
Casting is a spit in the face of every borderlands fan. The game a satirical and funny, yes, but the narrative was actually really well written. This shows they took a surface level glance and decided to half-effort it. Sad.
How they choose Kevin Hart over Terry Crews is beyond me 🤷♂️
Borderlands movie DOA. Who is in charge of casting? Good lord. Lilith is in her 20s. Cate Blanchett is 54! Dr Patricia Tannis is in her 30s. Jamie Lee Curtis is 65!! Roland is a tall, muscular man. Kevin Hart is not. General Knoxx gender swap!? Hollywood doesn’t like money.
