The bottom line is this administration wants to do everything in their power, no matter how they get there, no matter how many rules they break, to stop Congress from holding them accountable. I showed up to protect the people that I represent. I plan on continuing to do that.

Too many people are letting other people's trauma dictate how they view the world. I used to think I hated white people until I woke up and realized I was just being brainwashed by a narrative. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT - How do we fix our broken government? 1. Term Limits 2. Congress is paid the median salary of the state they represent. 3. No more traveling to DC How do we do all of this - Have you ever heard of ZOOM? There is no reason for the politicians to travel back-n-forth to DC. No payment for traveling to other countries - There is no reason for these politicians going to some place like Paris - They are not foreign dignitaries or some International Peace Organization - They need to represent their state. 4. Single issue bills - There is no reason to vote on many issues at a time - If a bill can't pass on its own merit, then it should not be passed. 5. When a member of Congress speaks to the media or the American people - it's assumed they are under oath, and they can be charged for perjury for lying to the American people and the jury made up of people from the state they represent and if found guilty they will immediately be removed from Congress.

It does not anymore. And they refuse to give that up because they love being the people who are the social justice warriors. I understand where this is coming from, but ultimately, you do not want to tell artists how to make art. “This is what they did in the Soviet Union. This is what they did in communist countries. The last place you want people making a lot of rules about how you can make your art, who you can hire to do your art — that is not what art is about. And no artist, no matter how liberal, is going to like that.”
