What a lame logic, sorry to say. Your spox continuously label Arunachal Pradesh as Chinese territory, and it is not a specific minor issue. Can India claim over Tibet as well and then you can keel ignoring boundary questions. How are you even an ambassador? Sovereign lines removed and you want to just talk about money and trade? India doesn't think that way.

Exactly. India should dust up the 1642 Treaty and declare the whole of Ngari disputed and recognise Uyghur independence. These are sensitive topics but shouldn't derail the overall relationship. The two countries should put this boundary question at an appropriate position in bilateral relations, not allow the boundary question to define the overall China-India relations, still less let specific differences affect bilateral cooperation.
