My Grandad had a big Elk on his wall. It had tasted good and my Grandma and I had ground the meat. It was a lot of work. I had helped keep the mounted trophy clean. He must have been beautiful in the wild.

Yep. A couple of nice young cow elk stepped out to cross the road as I was driving home. Fortunately, they were just far enough for me to stop. The guy in fast lane almost didn't make it. Our hunt starts on Black Friday. Here's hoping it's a black Friday for a nice bull elk.
