Pen, Nationwide posted a clip invoking Kukudoo’s famous “see people business and leave it alone.” I reposted it. And apparently, that became the problem. So on this episode of The Breakdown, we look beyond the back-and-forth and ask the more important questions: What responsibility does the media have when commenting on the pain and vulnerability of ordinary Jamaicans? Where is the line between humour, commentary and mockery? And are our standards applied equally depending on who is speaking and who is being spoken about? GEN FLYNN: The National Security Strategy the President just signed off on is focused more globally externally than it is internally. — I do think one of the things it falls short on is the ideological stuff that’s going on here in the United States: the media manipulation, the idea of this Marxism and Neo-Marxism ideology that is definitely inside and has infiltrated into the institutions of our government. There’s not enough discussion about how the President of the United States, in this National Security Strategy which should be both foreign and domestic, has to deal with. We have many compromised oversight systems, we have a very complex election system and technologies. People in this country are still going, what the hell is going on? Why do I care about Europe?
