Reporter: The President threatened to block the new Gordie Howe Bridge, which would connect Detroit to Canada. This is a bridge that was fully paid for by Canada. It used American labor to construct it. It used American steel to construct that bridge. The president in 2017 was actually in favor of this bridge. Why has the president changed his mind as it relates to this bridge? Leavitt: The fact that Canada will control what crosses the Gordie Howe Bridge and owns the land on both sides is unacceptable to the president. It's also unacceptable that more of this bridge isn't being built with more American made materials. The US should own half of the bridge.

I know Igboland doesn’t start from Onitsha because Asaba, Agbor and many other places are part of it too. But there’s something about crossing the Niger Bridge that can’t be explained. When you’re coming back home and you cross that bridge, a quiet wave hits you, a feeling that says, “I’m home.” Your shoulders drop, your heart softens, and no matter how far you’ve gone, you remember where you belong. And when you’re leaving, the moment you cross that same bridge, you feel it again, this time heavier. You just know you’ve truly started the journey away from home. That’s why it hurts to watch such an important bridge get worse by the day, and everyone just seems to accept it and move on😤

I was texting a friend about a wifi serial bridge, and he pointed out that no one uses serial anymore. So I said, "I'm bringing Serial back, baby!". And the rest wrote itself ;-) Hang in there for the bridge and share it if you don't unironically hate it. Maybe that old UNIX-wizard-looking-music-guy can produce it!

A motorcyclist saw this young lady pushing her hike up this steep bridge. He tried to help her out by offering to follow her, he knows how dangerous it can be for bikes. Shortly after, the police spot her on the bridge and arrest her for pushing her bike on the bridge. I know the bridge says no bike riders but does the rules apply to people pushing them too?

I love walking the Brooklyn Bridge at night in the summertime, the breeze off the East River, the city lights sparkling ahead, and that feeling that you’re literally walking through history. ✨🌉 One of the best ways to experience New York is to walk the Brooklyn Bridge, and my favorite way to do it is by starting in DUMBO, Brooklyn and walking toward Manhattan so the skyline unfolds right in front of you. 🌆✨ 👉 Where to enter in DUMBO: Head to the pedestrian entrance at Washington Street & Prospect Street, right near the famous spot where you can snap that classic photo of the Manhattan Bridge framed between brick warehouses. All of our supplies went up and down Highway 1, so the NVA were always trying to blow up the bridges. Truoi Bridge got hit with over 400 NVA, and they finally got onto the bridge with satchel charges tied to them." "Red didn't stop firing the whole time. Everybody knew where he was. Everybody tried to knock out Red in that gun bunker. He should have been put up for the Medal of Honor there, but he didn't get anything. Thirty years later, when people read what he did in Guns Up!, they finally gave him the Bronze Star. He had been dead for 30 years.

BREAKING: Police audio has been released that captures dispatchers discussing with officers the approaching container ship and the subsequent collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore. In the audio, you can hear an officer trying his best to get the traffic stopped going over the bridge as the ship approached. Thanks to some heroic officers, some of the traffic was cut off, but unfortunately some cars and workers still remained on the bridge when it collapsed.
