I've seen the video of the cat (frame 1) and I have a correction to make. It is not a two-handed cat. Rather, it is a two-faced cat. We call them Janus cat, named after the two-faced Roman God, Janus (frame 2). When the embryo is forming and it's time to form the facial features, there's a protein that regulates that. It is called SHH (Sonic hedgehog) protein. If the SHH protein is too low at this time, the eyes may both be close to the center and appear as just one eye. The nose may be absent, the midface may be sunken and flat and so on (frame 3). If the SHH protein is overproduced, it may lead to duplication of facial features. This is known as diprosopus. The animal may have two noses, two mouths, multiple eyes (sometimes three or four), but typically sharing one brain, skull, and set of vital organs. That's what is witnessed in this Janus cat.. Unfortunately, most kittens with this condition have a low survival rate, often passing within days due to complications like difficulty breathing, eating, or neurological issues.
