I’m not sure why they tell us that Prince Harry and Meghan The Duchess of Sussex are not royal anymore when they actually act as if they’re superstar royals and are giddy with delight about their return. Meanwhile, the endless insistence on “Duchess of Sussex” for Meghan, despite her no longer being a working royal and despite years of attacking the institution that granted the title, creates the opposite impression. It proves that “Meghan Markle” alone isn’t enough to carry the headline. Catherine never has to lean on hers. However, Meghan Markle needs HRH on a gift basket sent to a so called friend and “Meghan, Duchess of Sussex” announced when a journalist arrives for an interview, despite there reportedly being only two people there.
