The Bulls fleeced the Thunder. Trading a 30+ year old bench player for a future star in Josh Giddey. The Thunder didn’t learn their mistake from the James Harden trade. They did the same thing again 😂

OKC is undefeated and better with Caruso, and they will likely win a title in part due to this acquisition. I’d give it a few weeks.

Not quite the same as the harden situation, giddey became redundant in okc when jalen Williams kept improving and sga being sga, they both do what giddey does, they tried to force him to be a 3pt shooter last season like how Lakers forced Westbrook and it was a total waste of his talent. Chicago won that trade but OKC needed a Caruso more than they needed giddey

Maybe it was a good trade for all parties? Giddey wouldn’t be able to blossom in that OKC backcourt

Giddy will be good for the Bulls but he was not good for OKC. His defense was never going to work for OKC. He needs the ball in his hands. That also didn't work in OKC. Caruso is one of the best defensive players in the NBA. This trade was a win for both teams.

Fleeced is a bit strong. They really didn’t need him and they got a hell of a defensive player overall. Now for us, we got younger and it’s gonna work out pretty good from what we’ve seen in the small sample
