The Call to the Hall.

@ConorRyan_93 Could they make sure to have cell service before telling him he just got elected into the Hall of Fame?

Jersey retirement announcement and hall of fame call in a weeks span what a emotional week for the guy

@bostonradio Mike Gartner, Ron Francis and Patrice Bergeron on one phone connection... That has to be the record for three-person call with the most class and character.

Congratulations, Patrice Bergeron! #NHL #HHOF #HHOF2026 #NHLBruins

How can anyone not love Bergy? He really is the ultimate Bruin.

So well deserved. Thanks for so many great memories, for consistent amazing two way hockey. You set the standard. And having met him I can say and even better person.

@HockeyHallFame I was fine until he started getting emotional. … any bit of my childhood I was hanging onto is gone. “I wish there was a way to know you’re in the good old days before you’ve left them” Andy Bernard

The easiest decision they had to make in years!

@SWrights975 Great call to a great man!! Congrats Bergy!!!!! Whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!

Bergyyyyy babyyyyy

only he didn't imagine it everyone else did

@HockeyHallFame Congrats Bergie! So well deserved!!

Nobody deserves it more. This guy brought me both pure joy and pure devastation as a bruins fan. But I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Well maybe a cup in 19 😂

I predicted this over 12 years ago. Was it Marchie that once said “That’s the guy you want your daughter to date”? I’ll never forget when they got eliminated in I think 2013 in the finals and he was rushed to an ambulance from the ice and they found out his insides were soup

@HockeyHallFame Well deserved

Congrats! 🥳
