The light Russian helicopter Mi-34M1 with a VK-650V engine has made its first flight as part of the flight test program, according to the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. Equipped with a new engine, the helicopter has received modern onboard systems of Russian production. "The main purpose of this machine is passenger transportation, monitoring, flight training, and aviation sports," said Sergey Chemezov, the CEO of the Rostec State Corporation.
