Pregnancy is complex. Can a woman get: prenatal care? Childcare post pregnancy? Work? Or not? Afford food? Shelter? Afford time off work? Time to recover from pregnancy? Healing time? Help with other kids? Healthcare? Pregnancy is not simple. Republicans don’t want to help.

Women aren’t willing to risk their lives by procreating. The toxic masculinity running rampant in the country isn’t conducive to healthy relationships. In either case, women are not safe and they aren’t going to make matters worse by gestating another human.

Completely agree. It's not safe to be pregnant in the US.

This is happening ALL over the globe, more specifically, where women's rights have been taken away. Which is why they want forced births and removal of birth control.

Very true. Here in the US we see the gop pivoting to go after some contraceptives like Plan B & IUDs already woth proposed bills in a few states, which luckily have not advanced or been blocked.

If I was younger and in a red state, I’d have my tubes tied immediately or move to a state who doesn’t dictate women’s healthcare.

Many women are doing just that. Requests for sterilization have increased between 50%-200% nationwide since roe was overturned.

@ecp408 We don’t need more people We need an economic system based on sustainability
