There is something fundamentally cruel about the monarchy that expect spares and royal wives to suffer. But its arrogance is that they don’t expect their victims to be able to escape, and when they try, just like King Charles did, they blackmail them with more cruelty - taking away security, evicting them from secure homes gifted to them- ramping up the media abuse from their reporters.
