They could erect a monument to the Huron (Wendat) who were tortured, killed and cannibalized by The Iroquois (Haudenosaunee) Confederacy.

People don't really understand that the French generally had a very different policy with colonization and interaction with the Natives than what the English did, and generally speaking the French treated the Natives much better than the English did (with key exceptions).

On an Orillia Facebook page someone put a picture of them as a child on the Champlain Monument. Quite a few POSITIVE ( almost 100%) remarks. There were two negative comments with one saying he was showing White Privilege by showing it. The moderator removed the entire entry, thus restricting support for the Champlain Monument. A minority of WOKE Orillians is stopping it from being remounted. Seems Canada is always a minority rules place now.

They believe destroying a statue will stop what’s coming. All can be rebuilt.

On your ste. you mention the Indigenous helping form Canada with settlers. I do not see any Indigenous people in your photos. If you are true about what you say, you need to start meeting with leaders in the indigenous community to discuss whats at stake for them. If they wont talk to you, because the Liberals may cut off their perks, find some who will. There were Indigenous people at the convoy in 2022. Start inviting them, most live off reserve and work just like you. Its a lie that most live off the government. Also, ditch the uniform like clothing because that sets a negative tone; trust me here. I am trying to decide if your overall message is sincere because right now, there are mixed messages.
