Sonic… you told Tom that you were an alien from another planet, just to save his home planet in the first movie. Tails, you explained to Knuckles that a power bump (which should’ve been called a Fist Bump) is an Earth custom. Knuckles, you spent 1 movie, and your own show, talking about stuff you did on your previous home planets, and clarified how you need to protect Earth. Of course you guys are considered aliens to Earthlings. The same would go to Earthlings if they visted another planet. Because you guys are from other planets. Look, I really don’t like how the Sonic characters are aliens in the Jeff Fowler movies, because I like how in other media, they weren’t aliens who lived on Earth, they were just living in a planet full of humans & talking animals.
