This is misinformation. Many people meet their spouses at church…

I cannot agree less… A pastor boldly says “I took my wife to 200 days before proposing- If you see a lady smelling nice in the church, come with expensive perfume next Sunday to appreciate her, give her gifts “- I was shocked because you will need not less than N200k to go for 3 dates so, where will a young guy get the money to go for 10 dates?? It’s more easy for a Muslim guy to get married to get married to a Muslim lady than Christian guy getting married to Christian lady. Christian ladies have been told in a way that a guy who has everything is the God sent. The same rich Muslim guys can easily marry Christian ladies as second wife. Something is wrong with the way pastors teach ladies.

Africans became slave the day they embraced Christianity and started looking down their own culture and religion.

This is true to some extend, especially these born again churches that enrich the pastors instead of helping their fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

But most African churches encourage marriages. It is outside church narrative that promotes neoliberal depopulation agenda of childless, unmarried,academic, uncultured, modern woman.

Imagine having a “PhD” and looking like this:

Observed every single day. Women DO NOT respect their husband once their is a pastor to answer to. A pastor has more control over a womans thoughts than any man she has at home, since she sees him as the ultimate authority.

I think Churches can be a great place to meet a romantic partner on a simpler path with similar interests + lifestyle choices.
