I understand both. As a bride the minutia of planning a wedding can be overwhelming. You cannot take on everyone’s suggestions. As a friend, I’d never want my friend in a dress that made them uncomfortable. That matters to me. I’d allow her to alter the neckline of the dress

Bridesmaid - she communicated personal boundaries and the bride completely ignored them.

Her putting this phonecall on Tik Tok for millions to see tells me everything I need to know about her character & I think she’s selfish, self centered and a bad friend. I’d tell her to kick rocks and focus on MY DAY!!

This is why I like brides that just give a colour and let everyone pick their own style that makes them comfortable and within their budget. You just run it by the bride before buying. The wedding I just went to we all had different shades of champagne and it was beautiful and still cohesive despite the different styles.

Team bride. If you feel that strongly about the dress then don’t be in the wedding. This day isn’t about you and if you feel like you doing me a favor just by being there then I don’t want you standing up there with me anyway

Girl you should’ve dropped out of the wedding when you SAW you didn’t like ur bridesmaid dress.. It’s not deep. If you won’t wear it, don’t come! Thats what I’d do if a bride wasn’t understanding ME not wanting to wear something. Its the BRIDE’S DAY so don’t show up &complain

“you have no idea how much this means to me” says the bridesmaid to the literal BRIDE. then proceeds to hang up because she didn’t get her way. she’s a brat that should have never been included!

Team bridesmaid 100%. It sounds like she expressed her concerns with the dress very early in the wedding process, so, the bride should’ve made a decision then. Just ordering the dress, not communicating that to her friend, and THEN telling her to suck it up and not be selfish is a friendship ending level of malice.

10000% with the bridesmaid. Especially if SHE has to pay for it. What a horrible friend.
