The compliment always comes first. The job question comes second. That is the real interview. How you look on Barrow Street is not how you pay for Barrow Street. One person gets flexibility. The other is already late for a shift that smiles on command. Holding hands in the...

Ed Zitron said on Bloomberg that every dollar you spend on an AI subscription burns between three and thirteen dollars behind the scenes. The price you pay has almost nothing to do with what the product costs. Your twenty dollar plan feels cheap because it is supposed to. The real cost of running the model on your prompts is several times what you hand over. The gap is covered by venture capital, not by the business working. That gap cannot stay open forever. At some point the price has to move toward the real cost. When it does, the product you built your day around gets more expensive or gets worse. Probably both. We have already seen the preview. When Anthropic raised its real token rates last year, the startups built on top of it had to scramble. Cursor, one of the fastest growing coding tools in the world, was forced to tear up its pricing overnight because the underlying cost it had been shielded from suddenly landed on its books. That is the whole industry in miniature. Everyone downstream is building on a number that is not real yet. Millions of people are wiring AI into how they work, how they write, how they code. They are doing it at a price that exists to hook them, not to last. The subsidy is not generosity. It is a customer acquisition cost with an expiration date. The bill is coming. Most people building on top of it have no idea what their workflow actually costs. Watch the interview on Bloomberg Podcasts

Jensen Huang just drew a line through the entire global workforce. One sentence. No ambiguity. Huang: “If your job is the task, then you’re very highly going to be disrupted.” Not might be. Not eventually. Very highly going to be. That single distinction between a job and a task is the most important career diagnosis anyone will hear this decade. If you show up every day to execute a repeatable process, you are the process. And the machine runs processes better than you. Faster. Cheaper. Without breaks. Without errors. Without a salary negotiation. The moment your role can be written as a checklist, the checklist gets automated. And your desk gets cleared. That is not a warning about the future. That is a description of what is already underway. But Huang did not stop at the diagnosis. He handed you the prescription in the same breath. Huang: “If your job’s purpose includes you certain tasks, then it is vital that you go learn how to use AI to automate those tasks.” Your job includes tasks. But your job is not the tasks. Your job is the judgment around them. The decisions. The context. The instinct for why the work matters and what to do when everything breaks. That stays human. Everything else gets handed to the machine. And the person who hands it over first does not lose their job. They become more valuable than everyone still doing it by hand. Because they just converted every hour they used to spend on execution into hours spent thinking. The accountant who automates data entry does not get replaced. They become the strategist who used to be buried in spreadsheets. The marketer who automates reporting does not get fired. They become the creative who used to be trapped building dashboards. The person who refuses to automate anything becomes the most expensive way to do the cheapest work. Huang: “It is the case that the technology will dislocate and will eliminate many tasks. And because it will automate it.” No softening. No hopeful footnote. Dislocation is coming. Tasks will be eliminated. That part is settled. The only open question is which side of that line you are standing on. The side that lost the tasks. Or the side that gave them away on purpose and kept the work that actually matters. One side gets disrupted. The other side gets dangerous. The gap between those two outcomes is not talent. Not credentials. Not experience. It is whether you learned to use the machine before the machine learned to replace you. That window is still open. It is closing faster than most people are willing to believe. And it does not reopen.

More than 176,000 American soldiers were killed in Europe and the Mediterranean fighting the thing these men just put back on in New York. It’s not a metaphor. They are dead. Buried. Paid for with families that never came home so that a swastika would not get a sidewalk in this country. Now watch this video. They are not confused. They tell you they are National Socialists. They tell you the swastika is how you save America. Saving it, in their words, means no more wars for Jews. They shout Free Palestine with the same arm that is wearing the rag. They hold a banner that a man is a Jew. They give the salute when someone asks for it. One of them says it straight: “we are the real Nazis. Whites and everyone else who wants to struggle against the Jews.” Zionist power, he says, comes from Jews. They also tell you they do not believe in capitalism. They say it wrecked the country and has to go. That is not a side comment. That is the program. America was not founded on National Socialism. It was founded on the thing they want to tear out. You do not get to wear the corpse of the Third Reich on Fifth Avenue and then claim you are saving the republic. You are announcing that you want a different country, and you are honest enough, for once, to wear the uniform of the last one that tried. The government let them walk. Police stood there and watched men in that armband work a Manhattan street. That is how a country tells its dead they were optional and unimportant. This is also why the place is splitting in half. One side still knows what that flag means. The other side has spent years teaching people that the only Nazis who count are the ones they already hate, while actual Nazis and actual socialists find each other on the same slogan. Mamdani should be smiling. He is a socialist. Bernie is a socialist. These men said they are socialists too, and they said it with a swastika on. Different suit but the same contempt for the system the United States of America was built on, and the same permission structure around Jews. Tucker would have them on tomorrow and call it a conversation. It is not a bloody conversation. It is a funeral the United States already paid for once. Do not dare tell me this is just free speech. A country that spent 176,000 lives killing this ideology does not owe it a parade. This is just too much. This isn’t the face of a strong country… a superpower. This is the face of a weak and broken one. And too many people are making excuses for it and why it should live and thrive on American streets. Video credit: Joshua Waterman

Mark Zuckerberg just described the obsolescence of every institution on Earth and delivered it like a product update. Zuckerberg: “I just think in the future almost everyone is gonna have the power of a 10,000-person organization.” He did not say better tools. He did not say smarter apps. He said the full cognitive output of ten thousand human beings. Packaged into a product. Handed to one person. That is not an upgrade. That is the end of the reason human beings organize at all. Companies exist because one brain is not enough. Governments exist because coordination requires hierarchy. Universities exist because knowledge demands infrastructure. Every institution ever built was a workaround for the same limitation. No single person could do it alone. Zuckerberg is telling you that limitation is about to disappear. The 500-person startup becomes one founder and an AI stack. The law firm becomes one attorney and a system that never sleeps. The hospital becomes one doctor carrying every specialist in their pocket. That is not speculation. That is a deployment schedule. And the man writing it runs a 70,000-person company. He employs 70,000 people and just told the world one person will soon need none of them. That is not a prediction. That is a confession from the man who will be first to act on it. But the part nobody is discussing matters more. This technology does not land on everyone equally. It lands first on the people who already command 10,000-person organizations. Zuckerberg does not get the power of 10,000 people. He already has that. He gets the power of 10,000 organizations. Every revolution in history was sold as liberation. The printing press was supposed to democratize knowledge. It built media empires. The internet was supposed to democratize commerce. It built trillion-dollar platforms. The tool always arrives as liberation. It always settles as leverage. And leverage always consolidates upward. Zuckerberg is not wrong about the capability. One person will do what ten thousand once did. But the question nobody is asking is the only one that matters. If everyone wields the output of 10,000 people, what is a single person actually worth? And then Zuckerberg answered his own question without realizing it. Zuckerberg: “If the intelligence of a 10,000-person company is not greater than the intelligence of a single person, then what are we doing here?” He meant it as a case for AI. That is the most brutal thing a CEO has ever said about the people who work for him.

🚨CHINESE CARS ARE EATING THE SOUTH AFRICAN MARKET AND THE BILL COMES LATER‼️ South Africa is being flooded with cheap Chinese metal🔥 Showrooms full of Haval, Chery, GWM, BYD, Changan, Omoda and the next badge that arrived last month. Big screens, fake-SUV stance, lights that dance and soft leatherette. A price that looks like a bargain next to a Volkswagen, a Toyota, a Suzuki, a BMW or a Mercedes. That is the con‼️ Youth is buying the advert, not the car, not the service book and not the trade-in🔥They see gadgets and think they stole a German interior at half the money. They did not, they bought a pretty box from a market that is being force-fed volume by a country that treats exports like a weapon‼️ Established cars earn their residuals. Toyota and Suzuki start, service and sell again. VW has parts on a shelf in this country. BMW and Mercedes cost more because the used market still respects the badge when you walk into a dealership three years later. That is not snobbery, that is a number on a valuation sheet🔥 Chinese volume brands do the opposite. Day one they look loaded. Day 800 the screen is still shiny and the offer on trade-in is "kak". Buyers discover the hard way that a car is not what it costs new🔥It is what a dealer will pay when you are done with it. That gap is where these brands live. Parts is where the romance dies. Break something on a well-known Japanese or German car and the country already has the pipeline. Break something on one of these new imports and you sit, week or sometimes months‼️ Finance does not pause while a control arm or a screen module sits on a boat. You are the one without a car. That is not “growing pains.” That is the product. This is market manipulation with a smile, flood the segment, undercut the monthly and stuff the cabin with toys. Long warranty on the brochure. Photograph it like an SUV even when the tyres and the drivetrain say city car. Take the young buyer who would have walked into Toyota, Suzuki or VW. Take the family that would have stretched for a used German‼️ Push them into something that looks expensive and depreciates like a phone. South Africa loses twice. First the customer leaves a proven brand. Then the same customer comes back poorer, waiting on parts, staring at a trade-in that does not cover the hole. The “cheap” car was never cheap. The marketing was‼️ Give it two years. That is when the first wave of owners hit real mileage, first serious failures, first refinance, first trade. Then the clever campaign from Beijing stops looking clever. It looks like a dump of disposable product into a market that cannot afford to learn the lesson twice🔥 If you want a toy with a tablet on the dash, buy the toy and admit it. If you want a car that still has a spine when you sell it, buy what this country already knows how to fix: Volkswagen, Toyota, Suzuki, BMW, Mercedes🔥 The rest is a costume. Beautiful in the parking lot but ugly on the valuation and when it breaks, you are not a customer, you are a waiting list‼️
