The same Congress that now calls for a ban on the RSS seems to suffer from selective amnesia. While RSS volunteers were risking their lives to serve millions during the COVID crisis distributing over 46 million food packets, setting up nearly 93,000 relief centers, and opening hundreds of treatment facilities. Congress leaders were busy sowing doubt, mocking doctors, and fanning the flames of vaccine hesitancy for petty political gain. This isn’t just hypocrisy it’s a disgraceful insult to grassroots service and national solidarity. Congress wants to ban those who served, while it itself failed to stand up when the nation needed leadership the most. When duty called, the RSS showed up. Congress, as usual, showed its face on Twitter and then vanished behind noise and blame. If Congress had even a fraction of the discipline, service, and organizational strength the RSS displayed during the pandemic, maybe it wouldn’t be in political freefall today.
