I asked if they can sing...the mother of the girl said we were about to ask whose permission is needed to sing in the mike. I gave her the mike and she started Bhooloka Vaikuntham Srirangame...opening line praises Srirangam as "Vaikuntha on Earth." In the Sri Vaishnava tradition, Srirangam is revered as the foremost of the 108 Divya Desams and is believed to offer devotees the experience of the Lord's divine presence while still on earth.... The song as a whole is a devotional hymn glorifying: Lord Ranganatha reclining on Adisesha at Srirangam. Srirangam as the holiest Vishnu kshetra, where devotees experience the bliss of Vaikuntha.
