For decades, the GOP has been defined by a broad mainstream conservative agenda that now is faces off against an increasingly Progressive Left, dominated by radical ideology and even an embrace of Socialism. But today, the Conservative Movement faces a new challenge - A rising populist right that advances isolationism, protectionism and marginalizes values like the Right to Life. This is why I wrote “What Conservatives Believe” — to defend the conservative agenda that has been a cornerstone of the GOP for generations.

For decades, the federal government has funded the organized left and left‑wing groups here and abroad with taxpayer money through USAID and other grant programs. Judicial Watch has highlighted how Soros‑connected groups helped direct that money abroad. These groups should not get a dime from the American government, especially since conservative groups don’t get that sort of money. Tom Fitton
