The conversation ended where it began—with a chilling reminder that this isn't just politics as usual. According to Bannon, we’re crossing a line that past generations of military leaders never dared to cross. “If the intelligence committee actually did this, this is an act of war against Russia.” He...

It started with a warning. Ukraine wiped out 40% of Russia’s bombers in a surprise strike—and Steve Bannon says the U.S. is now on the brink of getting dragged into World War III. But the media shrugs. The public sleeps. Then Bannon went nuclear—calling for two brutal consequences for Senator Lindsey Graham upon returning home from Ukraine. 🧵 THREAD

Steve Bannon didn’t waste time with pleasantries. Speaking with Chris Cuomo, he opened with a dire warning: the United States is heading toward a global catastrophe, and most Americans have no idea how close we really are. “Chris, we’re being sucked into a kinetic Third World War right now, that’s going to dwarf the 20th century’s First and Second World War. Inextricably we’ve been drawn in every day,” Bannon said. The trigger, he argued, was Ukraine’s recent and audacious drone strike deep inside Russian territory—an operation that reportedly destroyed 40% of Russia’s strategic nuclear bombers. According to Bannon, the attack wasn’t just bold, it was reckless. “They attacked part of the strategic triad of the Russians… They took out 40% of Russia’s strategic nuclear bombers. This is something Curtis LeMay would never think of.” But what stunned Bannon even more than the scale of the strike was what didn’t happen: there was no warning. “What the Ukrainians did, and what the White House has said is that they never got a heads up,” he said. “It was audacious, it was bold—but we’re sponsoring this. We’re funding it. We’re cutting deals. And now they’re dragging us in.” That, Bannon warned, could have consequences far beyond Eastern Europe. “Did they think they can go in and really attack into Russian territory and drag us into conflict with Russia that could metastasize?”

The deeper concern, Bannon explained, is that Americans remain largely unaware of the global forces pulling them toward war. While the media focuses on domestic distractions, decisions are being made abroad that could change the course of history. “People are not awake of what is happening throughout the world and how we're being sucked in and supposedly by somebody we support, like Zelenskyy,” he said. The fact that Ukraine allegedly launched such a provocative strike without consulting Washington was, in Bannon’s words, “outrageous.” He doubled down on the danger of continuing to back a foreign leader who’s now acting unilaterally, without American oversight or input. “To know that he never gave the White House heads up. He never asked permission to do this.” Adding fuel to the fire, Senator Lindsey Graham was in Ukraine the same weekend, publicly reaffirming U.S. support. That, according to Bannon, is only making things worse. “It's outrageous! And Lindsey Graham all weekend's over there stirring the pot—We can’t have people over there telling Ukrainians that we're going back more.” In contrast, Bannon said, Donald Trump is trying to de-escalate. “What we try do is calm this down. What President Trump is trying to say is like, look, let's get to a cease-fire. Let's put our weapons down. Let's talk peace and prosperity.” Even if there’s disagreement on the economics, Trump views a negotiated settlement as the only realistic way forward. “We don't support the economic deal. But President Trump is saying that he needs it as a central part of a peace plan.” Still, none of that matters, Bannon warned, if others are charging forward recklessly. “We can't have Lindsey Graham and particularly Zelenskyy leading us into a 3rd World War with a deep strike into Russia.” And Vladimir Putin, he said, is already responding. “And Putin came back today and said, hey, we're gonna get to the bottom of this and we're going to see who is accountable in Ukraine and beyond. And that was a message to the United States.”

That message wasn’t just rhetorical—it may have real consequences. And for Bannon, those enabling escalation on the U.S. side shouldn’t get a free pass. That’s when the conversation went nuclear. During the exchange, Chris Cuomo pushed back. “I don't understand how you could want to jail a U.S. Senator because he’s saying something you don't like. That sounds like worst of the deep state.” But Bannon was ready. “No, what he's doing over there right now is stirring it up. He's giving the Ukrainians false hope.” Cuomo countered: “But it’s not illegal.” “He’s giving Ukrainians false hope that we’re there to support them on engaging Russia on a kinetic conflict, and we are not,” Bannon said firmly. When Cuomo pressed again, asking if Bannon really believed Graham should be jailed, Bannon unloaded with both barrels. “Two things ought to happen. Either cancel his passport and don't let him back in the country, or put him in jail if he comes back!” He added, “Lindsey Graham is stirring it up right now, and people better wake up to the fact that we’re getting sucked into this war!”

I have been screaming about Lindsey and DaNang Blumenthal for days! They need their passports seized and to be brought up on Logan act violations and insubordination. We might also consider leaving NATO.

What the hell could Lindsey Graham be doing? The only things that really come to mind are bad for our country. Either he's trying to throw a wrench in the peace negotiations or he's picking up his share of the squandered taxpayer's dollars. He really needs to be investigated for Logan act violations and money laundering. He's been a traitor who's been acting against America's best interest for a long time.

Bannon is 💯 correct! We the People never voted to go to war with Russia! We have got to vote OUT the RINO warmongers in Congress, before they drag our country into WWIII. And the U.S. needs to withdraw quickly from NATO, before we’re forced to ship our warfighters over to Europe to fight in a horrific war that We the People of the U.S. never started. Thank you to all who joined us in Brewer yesterday to fight to stop this senseless war. Full remarks and video below. ********* First, I want to say thank you to Food and Medicine for having me. The work of Food and Medicine, the Eastern Maine Labor Council, quite frankly, has really kept organizing alive and as part of the state for a long time. And if you have the time and the energy to get involved, I highly recommend that you do. I also just want to give a hearty thank you to everyone who's joined us here today. It means a lot and it also shows that this is, whether it's mothers, whether it's veterans, whether it's people just running for political office and part of our main community, nobody wants this war. Absolutely no one thinks that this is a good idea. And the reason why they don't want it is because they know what it's actually about. This is a war that's being pushed by Benjamin Netanyahu. He's been trying to make this war happen for almost 30 years. This is a war that's being pushed by the Saudis, who have also wanted this war to happen. Two nations that are happy to watch American blood be expended on their behalf. This war is also being pushed because Donald Trump is in the Epstein files. And other people in the White House, and other people connected with the Epstein class. They are terrified that we have noticed what they are doing. They are terrified that we're going to start wondering why the hell we let them stay in power. And to do that, they're going to do the oldest trick in the book. They're going to try to just start a war to distract all of us. They are willing to sacrifice the lives of young American men and women and the lives of Iranian civilians simply to protect their political interests. I cannot think of a more reprehensible act. I cannot think of a more unpatriotic act, of a more un-American act, than to send our sons and daughters off to die, to kill, to bring immense violence to innocent civilians abroad simply because you're afraid you might lose the midterms. It is disgusting. As reprehensible as it is, it's also important to remember that this situation we find ourselves in is only possible because we have had a Congress that for decades has abdicated its responsibility, its constitutional responsibility, in making war. We need to rescind the 2001 Authorization of Use of Military Force. Its vague language and lack of clarity has been abused by multiple administrations of both parties to carry out wars in the name of the military-industrial complex and those in power, to carry out military operations that did absolutely nothing to keep Americans safe, but made some people very, very wealthy and protected the political interests of those in power. It needs to go. But not only does it need to go, we need a war powers resolution that actually claws power back from the executive branch. The resolutions that are on the table, I highly recommend you call your elected officials and put pressure on them to vote for them. They are necessary, but they are not sufficient. We need a truly reformed War Powers Act, where we really pull the power back. No more 48 hours of combat operations where you have to notify Congress. No more 60 days of combat operations before you have to prove to Congress that you should have gone to war in the first place. No. We need to know why military force is used right off the bat. And it needs to be approved by Congress right off the bat. The Constitution is clear about who is supposed to have the power of waging war in this country. It is the body that is most representative of the American people because it is the American people who have to bear the brunt of combat. It is the American people who are asked to make the sacrifice. It is American families who have to bury their dead sons and daughters. It is American friends who have to watch their best friends come home from a war and struggle for years with physical and mental trauma.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: "To me, it's [JFK's] most important speech. It's one of the most important speeches in American history; the thing that he did that was so unusual in that speech is he talked to the American people and asked them to put themselves in the shoes of the Russians..." "The zeitgeist of our era was that America had won the war and now we were going to rightfully dominate the peace. And he said something very, very different to Americans that challenged that patriotic assumption: He said, no, it was actually the Russians who won the war. They weakened Hitler and made it possible for us to march into Berlin." "And he talked about the suffering of the Russians during the war and to legitimize their security concerns, which nobody was doing... what he was saying to the Americans is, no, they have legitimate security concerns the same as we do, and we need to understand those things." "And he reminded Americans of the suffering that the Russians had endured, unimaginable suffering. One in seven Russians had been killed during World War II. He asked Americans to imagine that all of the land, all of the cities, all of the towns from the East Coast to Chicago had been leveled to rubble, that the forests and fields had been burned. And he said that's what happened to Russia during the war. That's what they sacrificed for us, and they have legitimate security concerns to make sure that never happens again..." "I'm speaking you today because the world is once again at a very similar crossroads. As in my uncle's time, nuclear tensions are at an extreme and dangerous level. As in his time, we have a unique opportunity not only to diffuse those tensions, but to take a radically different path, a path towards peace."

Catherine Austin Fitts on the Thomas Massie election results: "I'm shocked he didn't win" "The question [is], was it a fair election? And the answer is, I doubt it" "[This] allows us to move out of the paradigm that we can vote our way out of this problem into a paradigm we have to take action across the board, including moving and shifting the money" "It was basically a handful of billionaires against the people of Kentucky. And the question is, Could the people of Kentucky be forced to either rig the election or... vote for whoever does the most sort of dirty ads?" "If you look at the ads, they were so misleading, so dirty, it was extraordinary. But you know what I'll say in that above-65 group [that voted for Ed Gallrein], that above-65 group has basically been trained, particularly in the South, to vote in whatever way AIPAC wants them to vote. And this is very unfortunate" This clip of Fitts, a former Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, investment banker, and founder of the Solari Report (The Solari Report | Catherine Austin Fitts), is taken from a discussion posted to the Children's Health Defense (Children’s Health Defense) Rumble channel on May 21, 2026. ---------------Partial transcription of clip--------------- "If you look at Massie's results, it says to me, first of all, I'm shocked he didn't win. And the question was, was it a fair election? And the answer is, I doubt it. "But if you look at what happened, you literally had a small handful of billionaires literally forcing, putting up millions and millions of dollars. This is the single most expensive, congressional campaign in the history of the country. "But it was basically a handful of billionaires against the people of Kentucky. And the question is could, could the people of Kentucky be forced to either rig the election or. Or, you know, vote for, vote for whoever does the most sort of dirty ads? "If you look at the ads, they were so misleading, so dirty, it was extraordinary. But you know what I'll say in that above-65 group, that above-65 group has basically been trained, particularly in the South, to vote in whatever way AIPAC wants them to vote. And this is very unfortunate. "In his concession speech, Massie said, I'm sorry to be late in giving my concession speech, but I had to find Ed, the guy running against him, to concede the election to him. And it took me so long to find him in Tel Aviv. And so literally, you have a clear message to the young people that you are being controlled by billionaires and foreign interests, and there's no fair elections in the United States. "And so that allows us to move out of the paradigm that we can vote our way out of this problem into a paradigm we have to take action across the board, including moving and shifting the money. "So to me, and I think if you look at, Massie's concession speech, it was very gracious. If you look at what he's going to do next for seven more months in Congress, you're watching a movement of the young people breaking out of the uniparty paradigm and, ready to bring about real change. So I'm very enthusiastic about the results of this election."

Pepe Escobar (Pepe Escobar) and Zulfikar from Transition Protocol report that the Mecca Pact is moving from paper to concrete military integration. Saudi Arabia has told Trump directly to get out. Iran is ready. The petrodollar itself is now on the table. Pepe Escobar: “This is a war for oil. This is a war for an oil choke point. This is a war about an independent sovereign nation that moves energy bypassing the US dollar. This is a war to defend the petrodollar. And this is a war against existential threats to the United States — Iran, Russia and China.” Zulfikar: “Pakistan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, in furtherance of their Mecca Pact, have actually begun to take concrete steps — significant concrete steps. They have announced joint military exercises involving all three branches of the military, which are the army, the air force and the navy, and these exercises will be conducted very soon in all three countries. So this is the first step of military integration. The exercises are a first step of military integration, which is really significant. If there is going to be an involvement that invokes the military of all three countries, they have to be integrated, and this is the first step in that. So those people who did not take this pact seriously or thought that, well, this is just window dressing, blah blah blah, nothing is going to come out of it — no, no, no. Our reporting says that they are deeply committed to integrating their joint defenses so that if the death cult continues to have these wet dreams of attacking any one of them, they are not going to get very far. So that is an important part of the news. The other important part of the news is that the message to Trump from Saudi Arabia — the second phone call — was very, very significant: This is our problem, we are going to solve it, we are solving it, get the hell out of here. We don’t need you to meddle. Very clearly. So it was mentioned by Saudi Arabia in the direct phone call. He’s very direct when he talks and when he’s made up his mind. But it was backed up by the Pakistani negotiators to the people with whom they are speaking — and this is either directly with JD Vance sometimes or with his office — that we don’t want you here. The time has come for you to get out. Now, as you and I know, we are dealing with a malignant toddler. That is my definition of Trump. Another piece of news that I want to emphasize: Iran has a swarm capability of 2,000 fast boats equipped with torpedoes. 2,000 of them. This is in addition to their midget navy. This is in addition to their underground subterranean capability of attacking anybody who tries to breach the Strait of Hormuz. And in fact the word that I’m privy to announce to you from Mohsen Rezaei is that he actually wishes that the United States will make an attempt to breach the Strait of Hormuz because then that will give him the ability to sink a warship or two and he would be fully justified and that will be the final nail in the coffin of the malignant toddler’s wet dreams or delusional ideas. So the next few days — I’m not even saying a few weeks, the next few days — are extraordinarily important because if the final outcome of that is that Trump and the American empire come to the right decision to get the hell out of the region, that will be the beginning of the end of the American hegemony in the world, not just in that area. That will mean the first step towards the destruction of the petrodollar. And when the petrodollar is destroyed, the ability of the United States to simply print money and to finance its debt is going to be over. We are witnessing an extraordinary, extraordinary change in global politics, tectonic shifts; the next 5–10 years are going to be very different than the past 75 years.” This is no longer about one country or one strait. It is about the end of the system that has financed the empire for half a century. The next few days will tell.
