The conversation pivoted from national security to another high-stakes issue—one that’s haunted the public for years. Hannity asked what many have long suspected: did the government lie about the origins of COVID? “Covid origins, are we going to find out information that the government lied to us?” That's when...

It was a lightning round. Dan Bongino just answered rapid-fire questions about where the FBI is headed—and what they’re working on behind the scenes. What’s happening every day in this country should have every American paying attention. Then he dropped a bombshell about the origins of COVID… And took a shot at James Comey. 🧵 THREAD

The first question was about the top priorities of the FBI and the answer was horrifying. FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino opened with a blunt warning: the FBI’s top priority is stopping American cities from being blown off the map. “We can't have New York, D.C., or L.A. go boom,” he said. That possibility, he stressed, is not theoretical—it drives every morning briefing. Alongside Director Kash Patel, Bongino treats it as their baseline mission. But bomb plots aren’t the only threat keeping them up at night. Right beneath that headline concern, Bongino pointed to two equally urgent dangers: cyberattacks capable of crippling infrastructure and foreign actors targeting U.S. intelligence. “The massive cyber threat, the counterintelligence threat,” he said, are now “co-equal priorities.” And then there’s the border. With millions crossing into the country, Bongino says the real danger lies not just in the numbers—but in the intentions of those slipping through. “There are people here… who want to do bad things—I think that is fairly obvious.” That’s why, according to Bongino, FBI teams are already in the field before most Americans wake up—tracking threats, executing removals, and dismantling plots before they materialize. “We have our FBI teams out there at 4:00 A. and 5:00 AM—removing these people from the country, while still preventing a terror attack.” And for those still pushing euphemisms or soft language around terrorism, Bongino had a message: “We're not the Federal Bureau of freaking word games anymore.” If someone attacks civilians while shouting extremist slogans and hurling incendiary devices, it’s not going to be labeled “civil unrest.” It’s going to be called what it is. “We're damn well going to investigate it—as targeted violence and a terror attack.” Then, with frustration rising, he drove the point home. “What the hell do you want us to investigate it as? A freaking grand larceny auto?!” No more games, no more spin. Bongino says the era of political caution is over.

But while Bongino’s eyes are set on what’s ahead, he’s not ignoring the mess left behind. Hannity asked if previous FBI personnel were going to be investigated. Bongino zeroed in on former FBI Director James Comey—someone who’s taken shots at Bongino and Patel in the press. But Bongino says the facts speak louder than any insult. “Comey, as a matter of fact, the guy who has a lot to say, ironically, about me and Kash—and that's fine, you know, he is allowed an opinion, he is a free American citizen like anybody else—but we found the items.” And what they found wasn’t minor. “I addressed this on Fox & Friends and I can go into a little bit more detail, but we found the things.” “We found documents—documents that were not where they should have been. And they were not good flattering documents for Jim Comey.” For Bongino, it’s not just about one man—it’s about a culture that he believes eroded the agency’s integrity. “The hubris displayed from a man like Jim Comey who disgraced the FBI numerous times with his role in Crossfire Hurricane and other abominations, it's just kind of stunning that he continues to attack our leadership, when we have to clean up the mess that Jim Comey created.” And the cleanup, he says, isn’t over. “As we continue to find stuff from his era and vintage.”

So where does it all go from here? Hannity’s final question was what will FBI look like a year into a second Trump administration? Bongino’s answer: a total overhaul. “A year from now, I want the FBI to have played a key role in the deportation of hundreds of thousands of violent criminals from the United States.” “I want the FBI to have thwarted multiple terror plots that we can't tell you about every day.” But those victories, he explained, aren’t always visible—and that’s the point. “Sean, every morning we do a briefing, Kash and I, with our ops directors. We can't sit here and take a victory lap every time something does not go boom.” “Matter of fact we almost never do it because we can't.” Still, Bongino laid out an aggressive blueprint that extends beyond physical attacks—tackling espionage, cyber warfare, and drone threats head-on. “I want to make sure that our counterintelligence operation is top-notch.” “That the ever present threat of the Chinese Communist Party infiltrating our systems, cyber spying on us—that by the end we have made significant progress.” “I want to be sure the drone threat—that we've taken action on it, not just talked about it.” And when it’s all said and done, Bongino says the results should be felt by everyday Americans—not just read in a press release. “I want to make sure we can look back to the American people and say, look—with President Trump's leadership, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and Director Patel—the murder rate is at a historic low.” “Crime rates have gone down.” “The border is sealed, and your FBI took a part in that.”

I hope the investigation doesn't include Rand. He faked interest long enough to get reelected. Now he couldn't care less. It's all about tariffs & the BBB.

CNN’s Scott Jennings on the Trump DOJ dropping its subpoenas of NYT reporters over its story about the new AF1: “Well, I would have no way of knowing that [what the government did was right] other than to say I think the bureaucracy leaks against Donald Trump and his administration all the time. I think national security information, classified information, is leaked to the media when it’s adverse to American interests, when it’s adverse to Donald Trump’s political direction for the government, I think it’s terrible.” “You take issue with me stating the fact that the federal bureaucracy frequently leaks classified and or national security information against?” “I take issue with the — the idea that somehow the federal bureaucracy is equivalently adverse to Democratic presidents as Republicans, particularly this one, so I take their point that they're upset when this government that supposedly answers to the executive branch is leaking national security information. I agree with what you said. If people are leaking national security information, they should be held accountable, And I also agree with what you said in this case, the system appears to have worked, and I give a wide latitude to journalists in the First Amendment. But you have to admit, it happens pretty frequently when Donald Trump is the President” “And in both of his terms, the bureaucracy has fought against him, worked against him and leaked against him, and I understand the impulse to want to put a stop to it, particularly when his safety is in jeopardy. I read today that the Secret Service director said this year they have already investigated 10,000 threats to protect ease of the Secret Service, which includes the president, which is a 40% increase over last year. So, do I take his safety when it comes to this plane seriously when we found out that Iran was trying to assassinate him over there? Yeah. And if there's people in the government putting him in jeopardy, I think we ought to take that seriously.”

🔥NOW: RFK Jr. tells Dr. Drew how he plans to attack the epidemic of addiction in America: "In the 20-year Vietnam war, we lost 56,000 American kids. So we're losing almost double that every year from this disease. You'd think that the trillion dollars we put into that war and the daily preoccupation on the news, the nightly news coverage for 20 years the presidential elections that were fixated on it, and it's half the number of people that are effected every single year. Our communities are being torn apart. We need to give this the same priority. I'm very reluctant to dictate a government solution. What we found from touring, this is a small fraction of the places we actually visited. I wanted to see every place that's doing this right, and what we found is there's a tremendous diversity of approaches that are working very very well. One thing almost all of them have in common is that they don't have government support. And so I'm very reluctant to get the government involved in a way that is going to micromanage places like this. I want to make the government support them and that may be through land purchases and through those kinds of contracts but I don't want the government to be coming in and micromanaging. I think this has to be run by NGOs and we have to use a lot of different approaches. You know Franklin Roosevelt when he was launching the New Deal said 'We're going to try these programs and we're going try something one thing at a time and if it doesn't work we're going to abandon it and were going to try something else, but were always going to be trying something.' And all I can guarantee, I can't tell you right now that there's one solution or even a multiplicity of solutions but what I can tell you is that in my administration we're going to solve the problem because I'm going to focus on it. And if there are things that are working we're going to create ecosystems in which those kinds of solutions can proliferate.

American Citizens Are Calling For Accountably Of Their Money Being Spent On Illegal Immigration Programs Illegal Immigrants Given Up To $9,000 Per Month For Housing Assistance 🚨 “Let's talk about the money that is being spent. I think that there needs to be a federal audit against the company that we have contracted out to take care of the migrants. We have nurses that are being paid $64,000 a month. We have security officers that are being paid as much as $24,000 a month. We have home health care workers that are being paid up to $17,000 a month. You don't think that Chicagoans could have benefited from that? We have citizens in this city that have been on the waiting list for affordable housing for years, and migrants have been bumped in front of them. We have people who have been given up to $9,000 a month for housing assistance. That amount of the city of Chicago. We are not am pro black. I am for my marginalized who have been expect us to give up our parks places in our community for others. We're not saying that there's not room here, but what we are saying is that we are not going to step aside for you to accommodate them when you have continued to leave us out of the equation. So I'm not just talking to Brandon Johnson right now. I'm talking to Governor Pritzker and I'm talking to President Biden and I want you to understand This upcoming political year where the Democratic Party is on the menu, hear me, people of Chicago, of Illinois and of the United States. It is time for us as black people to stop voting party. It is time for us to stop voting color. It is time for us to start voting our self-interest. And if the Democrats in the city of Chicago, the state of Illinois, and the country of USA refuses to listen to us, then it is time for us to start looking at other alternatives. We are looking at all the alternatives. We will not step aside and continue to be mistreated. We will not continue to be disrespected. I'm looking at people who are coming here from another country giving work visas, giving social security cards. Nobody is asking them what walk of life that they come from. You don't think that our brothers who have been in prison, out and who have changed their lives will benefit for the same opportunities that we're giving these migrants. And I'm not saying that they don't deserve those opportunities. But what I am saying is we deserve them first. What I am saying is you can't continue to put us on the back burner and think that we're going to continue to be okay with it. We've done that for long enough. And what we're saying here today is that is no longer acceptable to our governor that you're not going to continue to set money aside for people who don't live here and disrespect, mistreat and forget about us. You've forgotten about us. You have treated us as if we don't matter and we're saying to you you're not going to continue to do this. We're saying to you to see us. You're dumping people into our communities who are going to at some point move us out of the say to you, if you want to glimpse into what's going to happen, look at how people of color are being treated in Venezuela right now. We seem to forget that Venezuela was one of the first places that had African slaves that they were taken to. We're forgetting about that. And so we're forgetting that there are blacks in Venezuela who are being treated the same way we are. And so for us to expect that they're going to come here and be put into society and treat us differently is a pipe drain.”
