Theory on why the Vikings kept 4 quarterbacks on 53 man roster. Teasley’s it’s not given up on McCarthy. KOC has, and wanted to keep Brosmer on the 53 man roster instead , so Teasley made him use up a roster spot to do it. Question has Kyler proved to his team that is he’s the guy, and will he be voted as a team captain.

@nacholeber I'm sure Max is 'smart' when it comes to understanding the offense. But when you look barely adequate against 2nd and 3rd teamers in preseason, you should not be in a position to play a meaningful regular season snap.

@nacholeber A bad Draft pick leads to all this. McCarthy was injury prone in college, inaccurate in college, read defenses poorly in college---it's all the same in the NFL. Choose your 1st Round Draft pick QBs wisely.

@nacholeber The hit rate in the nfl draft isn’t as high as people might think. I can count 13-15 QBs drafted in the 1st round who were busts to their drafted team. Trading draft picks to move up to draft a bust is what the issue is here.
