The cool thing about animating in code is it's pretty trivial to do quick variants like this x-ray inversion.* 15 hours left on this! *not sponsored by, affiliated with, or anywhere near the quality of Shopify's masterful design site

Good software is durable. Here's an quick example of what that means, at an interface level. In X, you can choose a custom emoji reaction. The popover looks like what I expect, but it does not work like I expect. I want to use the ‼ emoji, so the first thing I try is obviously '!'. No results. The sum of a million little papercuts like this means X feels like broken software, not well designed or made. Which is a shame, because it's a brilliant product and network.

One of my favorite details for Interface Craft is one of the least used: the invoice tool. Customers can enter the unique tax or business info they need, see what they paid in localized currency along with any discounts, and download a PDF. Thankfully Stripe makes this all fairly easy. It's something only a fraction of users see, but I think great design is sometimes about facilitating all of the edge cases to keep accounting and tax departments happy worldwide!

One of my favorite details in DialKit is the slider component. Smart snapping on click, responsive drag handle, ability to type to enter value too... it even has rubberbanding. It's not perfect yet, but it's the best I've seen for this type of control.

I'm doubling down on the ebay feedback thing. I do not care. If you mark a card like this as Near Mint with this picture and tell me "yOu DeCiDe oN cOnDiTiOn" I'm leaving you negative feedback. Picture on the listing. Card in hand. this is not minor indents

🇬🇪Maidan2.0… Make no mistake, not a single European leader thinks that Georgia is part of Europe or should be a member of the EU. These sponsored protests are not organic and are not supported by 80% of the country. So what’s so special about Georgia? Well, this attempt of color revolution in Georgia didn't just happen overnight and it's not due to fraudulent election.. it's a deliberate attempt to weaponize Georgia against Russia, and it's a deliberate attempt to open a second front for Russia to make sure West "wins" and saves face in Ukraine. All of this is done by design...

In Amsterdam, an Islamist says “women who do not submit to the rules of Islam and the Quran should be enslaved”. A savage like this does not belong in the Netherlands or anywhere in the West!

I think so many concepts in design need to really be felt and played with, not just shown. That's why Interface Craft is full of interactive figures that demonstrate topics. I always look forward to making them; this is one of my favorites!

Good Morning Bob! I feel pretty intimidated in animating, because it's obviously hard and expensive to making something like this, and I do wanna ask for help but not right now qwq so right now, have a animatic of Bob waking up in the morning.

I could write for hours about this guy. The unwavering belief. The total immersion in the bit. The paint quality on the buildings. The apocalyptic absence of a single other human being outside in any of his hundreds of videos. There is no other content online like this.

This is one of the Rockets' most significant problems in back-to-back games. No amount of game planning or adjustments will fix the team's lack of effort. It's not just this play; it's been like this the entire game.

Usually when I save a website URL it's because -I want to save the website design exactly how it is in that point in time -I want to know what frontend/animation trickery they did whether its just raw code or some framework so i made a site where I just drop the url -> get a screenshot + screen recording to capture any animations I found interesting a non-trivial amount of my notion links don't resonate with me due to redesigns and I think this is the simplest fix. Just like my notion list it lives in a browser tab and is still paste->enter->move on

This is Blackburn,UK. In just 40 years Blackburn, like many other northern towns, has been completely taken over by foreigners. How do they do it? They multiple, they bare children on a rate we the British do not. This is done by design to replace the indigenous population 😡😡

Just lost to this guy on Console Kings in the 2v2, the Admin did not believe he was cheating, he goes on to win the whole thing! 'FAYRO#1471591' Believe it or not, he’s also T250 in Ranked. If you think that centring is anywhere near normal, you’re either cheating or you’re gold at best. Gold medal if you can guess where they went in the second clip.
