To this day it baffles me why he was dropped for Robinson. Nigel was THE greatest GK to put on a Leeds shirt . He was also better then Seaman for England

Martyn was an excellent goalkeeper. If only we had kept him and sold Robinson in 2003. Moyes considered him his best signing at Everton, and he made 83 appearances, playing a key role in keeping them in the Premier League. Robinson, nowhere near Martyn.

I love Martyn, but he wasn’t even the greatest goalie to play for us. I think you’ll find that is the Chief lol
