The cost is indescribable and our nations benefit is barely quantifiable. I have already paid the price. If you expect my kids to go fight first, you’ll have to fight me on the way to get them.

We are on the brink of World War III. If you haven’t fought in a war as we are exiting our country’s longest time at war, shame on you for calling for it. By no means am I saying we should not fight Russian aggression but if you voted to fund

the Ukrainian war or are flying a Ukrainian flag in your bio, the public will demand that your sons and daughters go and fight first. Myself and all of my friends spent the majority of our adult lives fighting in wars.

I like and respect you a lot Tim. I just don’t understand the idea that Americans can’t support Ukraine without sending troops to fight. Funding a Ukrainian defense is literally preventing a potential genocide of an entire ethnicity (Ukrainians). Is that not an American ideal?
