The cost of being different.

I get the metaphor that being bullied can lead to one of two things: somebody’s demise or their strength. It’s obvious which one you chose. 😐

Sadly, this is our reality today. What about tomorrow? It will change; it has to change.

Being different can be challenging I know, because society does not always understand or accept those who stand out But the judgment or rejection of others does not define who I am it reflects their perspective, not my worth. Like the seagull that chooses to fly its own path,

Extraordinary people go through extraordinary pain on their path to making an extraordinary difference. Extraordinary strength is required. Seems to be the journey, and is not for the faint of heart.

I was bullied in elementary school, because I had a speech problem, but I am still different and I really don't care, people like me or they don't.

The cost of being different doesn't have to be painful, as long as you know how to handle it. It all comes down to strategy. As the saying goes: 'You must know your enemy well, but you must know yourself even better.'Look closely at that bird.

Perhaps technological advancements can change this to where the different birds can find or build more suitable flocks, perhaps. Secondly or maybe it should have been firstly, The old man painted the birds wing knowing it would be harmed for standing out to prove to the boy to not be an individual?? It would explain why some time periods have very little advancements
