Collectors and “credit gurus” thrive on one thing: most people don’t sue. They know you don’t understand how badly your rights are being violated, and they bank on that. Dragging out disputes, citing chain of custody, and writing 10 letters doesn’t scare them, it signals you don’t know the system. It tells them you’re not a legal threat, just another person following YouTube scripts. Here’s the real leverage: 📌 Credit reporting is a legal matter, not a debate. 📌 No signed contract = no collectible debt. Period. ✅ File a lawsuit for illegal reporting. ($50 - $70 cost) ✅ Demand statutory + real damages. (YOU GET PAID) ✅ Notify all 3 bureaus with an intent to sue, naming them as co-defendants if they don’t produce a valid contract in 10 days. (If they don't act accordingly, file lawsuits for all 3) I have successfully sued collection agencies, and the 3 bureaus. To date, I have not had to appear in court once Collectors don’t take letters seriously. They take lawsuits seriously. Without a contract, they settle fast. If you're done playing by their script, helps you take control, with action, not busywork.

Good way to lose all your credit . Good idea 😂 try buying a house after that.

Tell me for the U.K. pls!!

@grok is this true and does this work in Europe?

You don't even have to pay debt collectors. They buy the debt account from who is actually owed so you have no obligation to pay once it goes into collections. It does ding your credit score tho
