i have such a weird perspective on this coming from nyc. In nyc it’s clear that perpetrators of violent crimes are generally from those who are in primarily melinated african genetic areas. The schools aren’t as good I won’t get into why, but that’s how it is. Most people in these areas are good, but a select few can make life feel unsafe for others. I do have faith in the new generation and actually feel that things have improved drastically among the youth since I was younger. They are definitely more open minded to being an individual which compared to my childhood is a big upgrade, they are collectivist in their own strange ways, but the collective isn’t as violent ,angry , and unreasonable as it was when I was younger. With that being said, I was arrested for a crime that I didn’t commit and beat up by the police. They wanted to give me a year in jail or community service, I chose community service as the idea of a year in jail was just out of my realm of imagination for my life. I wonder how many others have experienced such stories in my city, I know i’m not the only one. I also wonder what are black rural areas like? Do you all get a long? If there was a crime map that you felt was accurate, how would it compare to the neighboring areas that are caucasian or that of a different race? Based on my experience as a new yorker that travels through every borough, and has been to almost every neighborhood. This map rings true, there aren’t any “made up” stats here. This is the reality. I went to school in bayside queens, but grew up in south east queens. South east queens as beautiful as it can be compared to northeast queens always had a profile that signified that there was more violence in that area. So while I do agree with the fact that blacks are incarcerated more for crimes that they didn’t commit, is it not fair to admit that blacks are still a larger cause compared to other populations of more violent crimes in America? This has been my observation in nyc. I know this may vary based on where you are from.

That you imprisoned more black in American does not prove that they conmit more crime, the evidence of your systematic racism and bias society.
