The crowd during this Texas Tech timeout in the second half was as loud as I’ve heard the Marriott Center since the Gonzaga win in 2020. Big win for BYU.

Yes. I am 100% neither team heard anything that was said by coaches during timeout. I couldn’t even hear my son sitting next to me. It was AWESOME!

Even though we lost, you gotta just love Big12 basketball. The arenas and the fans are the best of any conference. Great game BYU and fans. We will get you next time. Good Luck in the NCAA tournament.

Last night was the #2 loudest game I have been to at the Marriott Center with only the 2020 Gonzaga game beating it.

The 1 good thing about old colored benches was MC held 23,000. Not comfy but in 1979-80 no one cared & when 23,900+ squeezed in vs utah it was the loudest I ever experienced. Oh when MC 1st opened it was called the Marriott Activity Center (or the Big MAC). Hence the name change.

I've been a season ticket holder since 2018, and I can't remember it louder than at least on 2-3 separate occasions last night! 🔵🤙⚪️
