The Cubs had a runner on third base with less than two outs three times tonight. None of those runs scored.

Does Jed realize the trade deadline is in a couple of days or nah

Same shit as last year. Not a time for a Hoyer extension.

75% of the time we are in this situation, Dansby is up

Happ & Dansby have been the biggest Cub killers all season.

You could almost say they’re choking exactly like the Chicago Bears

Definitely not playing good ball when we need to be in the biggest series of the season.

So in other words they “dansbied” 3 times tonight.

That was whack

Typical. We still have enough time to blow a wild card spot too.

No quality ABs when it mattered. Seems what they did well the first two months vanished. When you have 5 in the starting lineup with a sub .251 avg, doesn't lead to success. The quick ABs not working the count doesn't help. This needs fixing.

Awful at-bats with RISP.

This has been the narrative for years. It’s unfortunate but reality.

But we don't need offense right?

That’s what happens when you’re playing the best team in baseball

Ever since the All-Star break, only Nico and Shaw has been hitting. Also Tucker hasn’t done anything in awhile.

Message was sent to the team. Ownership values front office more than improving the roster. Bad timing on the Jed announcement.

@grok is this related to luck or lack of skill

They are HR or nothing. That’s always been the Cubs offense. And you cannot sustain that. They don’t play fundamental baseball, like the Brewers do.

Brewers, by the way, were 3/3 tonight in this category

Ass

LMFAO this team SUCKS

Zero execution

Inexcusable

this is such unbelievably ugly baseball. july has sucked.

Pathetic losers enjoy 3rd place

Failure to excute.

Choking as hard as they possibly can

Offense is abysmal right now

Great highlight…

They scored in the second lol

That’s the definition of an unclutch team. And this isn’t a recent thing either. They choked last year as well. Nothing new with this “core”.

When u don’t pitch well, field well or hit in the clutch w/ducks on the pond it’s a recipe for a one-sided loss. That’s what happened.

We have a bunch of not clutch hitters that just look for the home run ball.

Might as well run a squeeze until they start hitting
