THREE KIDNAPPED VICTIMS RESCUED UNHURT, PART OF RANSOM PAYMENT RECOVERED IN IMO STATE. On invitation, yesterday I arrived in Imo State and went through Ogbaku, Ejemekwuru, Amakohia Ubi, Ndegwu Okuku, and Ireti communities. Working in collaboration with the Nigeria Army 34 Artillery Brigade, Imo State Homeland Security, and the Amakohia Ubi Security Network, we carried out a coordinated operation. With technical and intelligence support from the Safe City Volunteer Team, we traced the kidnappers to a farmland in Ndegwu Okuku, where security operatives engaged them in a gun battle. The kidnappers fled the scene and abandoned three victims they had held captive while awaiting ransom payments from their families. A total of five victims were kidnapped. One release yesterday paid ransom, one was killed by the kidnappers and three was rescued unhurt by us. The rescued victims revealed that the kidnappers are eight in number and are strangers speaking Fulani. One of the kidnappers said he was kidnapped last week Friday around Portharcourt road and they trekked to Ejemekwuru Information gathered shows that these kidnappers are scattered across the above mentioned communities and other parts of Owerri West. NOT CULT-RELATED: In August, Naija Confra was asked to investigate the de@th of a boy in a case initially thought to have occurred in Asaba, Delta State, but it was later confirmed to have taken place in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The incident was not cult-related but a kidn@pping. The victim, Ejima from Aguleri in Anambra State, was working as a security man. In the video, he was seen opening the gate for his boss when kidn@ppers followed the boss inside. Ejima struggled with one of them but was k!lled by another kidn@pper, while his boss was still kidn@pped. While calling on authorities across Nigeria to take firm action against the rising wave of kidn@ppings, we urge everyone to stay vigilant, especially if you live in isolated or bushy areas, as kidn@ppers often exploit these locations. In many cases reported by Naija Confra, victims who resisted arm£d attackers were k!lled, yet their belongings were still taken or the kidn@pping still occurred. We strongly advise surrendering when the situation is clearly unfavorable, particularly against arm£d attackers. You may be lucky to not be k!lled. Stay Vigilant, Stay Smart, Stay Safe.

Shortly after his visit to Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, at the Government House, Mr. Peter Obi proceeded to Intashara Islamic School in Bauchi State.
