The current prevailing interpretation of the 14th Amendment regarding birthright citizenship is wrong. It was never meant to reward illegal aliens for breaking American law. No child born to foreign citizens should be considered a citizen of the U.S.

It seems clear that any illegal is still under the jurisdiction of a foreign government. It was tortured logic to grant any illegal birth right citizenship. We can now RIGHT many wrongs

Thank you for this video! People are very confused about this subject and this video does a great job of simplifying it.
Here is the test. Are the foreign people having the child subject to CONSCRIPTION into the U.S. Military or are they still subject to the jurisdiction they came from? If they couldn't be drafted in time of war, they are NOT subject to the jurisdiction of the United States under 14th Amendment and cannot have their children become citizens. In the 80's, I worked for the airlines. Almost every flight had newborn babies with US Passports, whose parents held Indian ones. They came to birth their American babies and flew back home.
By that reasoning none of us are citizens of the US. since all of our ancestors were citizens of other countries before coming here!
Abuse of the 14th Amendment by immigrants who entered the US unlawfully should end. SCOTUS needs to review and extend the reasoning set forth in United States v. Wong Kim Ark (1898) - children born of non-citizen parents unlawfully residing in the U.S. should not be granted U.S. citizen under the 14th Amendment.
