I was watching this Bloomberg video, notice how they subtly insert the fact that this woman was born into the “lowest caste” in “India’s social hierarchy,” even if it’s irrelevant to the story. Keep in mind, this is not accidental—it’s a calculated effort to reinforce the narrative that the “caste system” defines India. The goal is to shape American perceptions, convincing their white audience that Indians are inherently bigoted and perpetuate “caste oppression.” What they deliberately ignore is that India has gigantic welfare programs exclusively designed to benefit the same “lower caste” communities, funded largely by “upper-caste” taxpayers.
