the curse of knowledge

Once you learn something, you lose the knowledge of not knowing and this lose the empathy for people who don't know it.. wow

This, I think, plays out in my relationship with kids. Sometimes I get upset or angry when my little brother does something annoying or wrong. I have to keep it in mind constantly that he isn't doing it because he's being naughty. He doesn't know better.

This is so true. I just tried this out with my sister, she guessed on my fourth try, I was surprised she couldn't hear it lol, we are really all up in our own heads aren't we

I so relate with this curse. When I’m relating with people, I do so with the understanding that they know what I know, but… The feedback makes me wonder why people don’t just get this simple thing I’m talking about. This is why I use enough words to explain things & still… 🤦🏻‍♂️

Ngl this is something I'm guilty of, especially with my significant other, mostimes I feel bad when I do it and she does too.
