i just wish they built housing and mixed use on top of this instead of making the station its own thing at 1 story and no density value. ditto all other metro stations in LA. im def a new yorker at heart bc it seems to be a waste of land 🥲

Why does a station that serves *one* train line need to be so large? And what is the point of having a huge pedestrian plaza around the entrance?
