The Dáil is drowning in dysfunction. There is no work being done on the bread and butter issues facing the people. The government must withdraw the damaging speaking rights changes and let the focus return to housing, disability services, and the cost of living crisis.

Is it up to the Govt? Has it, or the opposition, got any right to deny Mr Lowry the legal right to represent his constituency as an elected independent non party non govt TD? Has the Dail the right to deny the right under rules of any group to form a technical group..
