A dentist told me I needed a root canal.... no thanks and five years later I have never been back to a dentist again.... perfect teeth.

Am 83, worked in dental industry for many years, had root canals myself, and NEVER SAW ANY CANCER STEMMING FROM A ROOT CANAL.

I had a root canal abscess when I was about 20. Root canal was done at 14 or so. By far the most painful thing I ever had happen to me. The hole in my jaw was the size of a golf ball. It ate all the bone. When they pulled the tooth the puss/infection shot 6’ they told me (I was out obviously). Horrible experience

😢 I have one, it is effecting my health and I can afford to have it removed.

The body has this very same procedure for foreign objects - they are encapsulated in calcium. That is without even removing the "flesh" as a root canal does. What can decompose is limited in this way, then no more.

They don’t care about us.

I had to pay 800 for mine since my insurance didn’t cover it. I had mine done about 2 years ago.

This is a bit over the top. I get it. It makes sense. However, it’s save the tooth structure, or die from pain and infection anyway. Give me a break. I want to see evidence from the millions of RC’s done every year that EVERYONE will die from having one done. Pllllease.
