This husband had just come back from picking up photos for his wife. He parks (kind of) and gets out and then sees his car take off. He didn’t put it in park. Not going to be a good day. The car rolls down, takes out the support beam to his pool patio and continues down into the woods by their house. Poor guy, as he looks on in disbelief, he throws the photos in the garbage can and not his trash. The wife comes out and she is in disbelief too. Could have been worse, it could have went into the pool. 💯 In his defense, it’s a push button and it doesn’t have to be in park to be turned off. He used to drive another vehicle that would automatically put the vehicle in park when the car was turned off by the push button. This one doesn’t do that unfortunately. 😬 How does the insurance handle this? Do you think the manufacturer of these cars bears some of the blame of all these kinds of accidents we see of these cars rolling down without being put in park or is it solely on the human being owner?

Spoilers for Donnie Brasco. At the end of the film, it’s strongly implied that Lefty, played by Al Pacino, is killed. However, in real life he survived. The FBI picked him up before the Mafia could get to him, and he was later sentenced to 15 years in prison for racketeering. The final scene, where Lefty quietly prepares to leave, was loosely based on what actually happened to Sonny Black, who was played by Michael Madsen. Joseph Pistone, the FBI agent who went undercover as Donnie Brasco, explains: “Tell you how Sonny Black got killed… When it came out that I was an undercover, in the beginning the mob didn’t believe I was an FBI undercover agent. They thought the FBI had kidnapped me and was trying to turn me, because we picked it up on the wiretaps and informants. But once their lawyers told them, ‘Hey, he really is an undercover agent,’ Sonny Black gets a call. You got to go to a sit-down. So he walks into the Motion Lounge. He had a diamond ring. He takes off his diamond ring. He takes his money out of his pocket. Takes all his keys, except his car keys, puts them on the counter. He says to the bartender, ‘I just got called to a sit-down. I’m probably not coming back.’ He calls his girlfriend. And this is how we found this out. He calls his girlfriend and tells her the same thing.
