Helga episodes always tended to go down psychological route. This was one of the first big ones showing the dangers of high expectations. I'd say the reason we don't see many of these episodes in cartoons anymore is because alot of gifted kids are burned out long before college

This is the moment that I most associate with that distinct Hey Arnold “trumpet” sting sound. “B…..+??!!” Nika Futterman delivered that so hilariously overdramatic as Olga. So good.

And this was done legitimately out of spite by Helga.

If anything this episode makes me grateful I was never the type who was crazy about straight A’s

At least Helga knew changing an "A" to an "F" would've REALLY broken Olga, either that or she would've immediately suspected something was screwy. Also, it's Bob and Miriam's faults for pressuring Olga so much, as she would reveal by the end of the episode.
