It's a caricature of what the left thinks the right is, and Lang played his part perfectly, handing them the exact footage they wanted. As soon as the match was struck, Antifa members magically appeared on cue to pepper spray him. It was as choreographed as a WWE match. Each side plays their role: Lang the martyr for free speech, Antifa the intolerant rage mob. The conflict is the point. It's designed to create chaos and footage for both sides to fundraise off of. And the biggest giveaway of all? The police. They stood there and watched. They did nothing. In a city like Dearborn, for a public burning and assault to happen without police intervention means one thing: it was allowed to happen. The stand-down order was given.
