Hate in one's heart blurs vision. We see first with our hearts, then with our eyes. This profound truth highlights how our emotions and internal biases shape our perception of the world. When hatred resides in our hearts, it distorts our ability to see people and situations clearly, leading to prejudiced judgments and misunderstandings. Conversely, when our hearts are filled with love, compassion, and understanding, we perceive the world through a lens of empathy and clarity. Our heart's initial emotional response significantly influences how our eyes interpret reality. Therefore, to see the world more accurately and justly, we must first cleanse our hearts of hatred and bias, allowing them to be guided by love and kindness. This attack by Iran's proxy, Hezbollah, killing 14 Druze Israelis and wounding scores more, is a declaration of war. Israel will teach the Hezbollah terrorists and its sponsor, Iran, and its brother terrorists of other organizations a lesson they will never forget. Israel's responsibility is to provide for the safety of its citizens and guests. Oh, they're really sad about a guaranteed food supply and no predators or poachers coming after them.

A lot of times zoo animals have been rescued due to injuries. Sometimes they are captured to try and save them from extinction. It’s not always all sad

It's sad to see the freedom taken away from the animals in the zoo. The animal's eyes lost their shine.

I do agree, but also there are some zoos or places that have rescued animals for bad situations (owners) and some animals that are injured that would otherwise die in the wild. There is a place for preserves and zoos for these cases in the right situations.

You could also frame it as a way to help animals that are endangered get the visibility they need for people to care enough to help (elephants). Or a place for animals (obviously not all) who have been injured and can’t live in the wild anymore. Or a place where breeding programs help endangered species bounce back from the literal brink of extinction (like giant pandas). It’s not a prison for the sake of being a prison. I’m really surprised more people don’t realize that.

The looks of being locked up and striped of all your freedom for no reason other than existing. Very sad 😢
