It's due to relentless pressure from the Congress and our leader Shri Rahul Gandhi ji that the BJP government has been forced to announce a nationwide caste census. Our fight doesn't stop here. As the Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, I'm honoured to inform you that we're the first state to successfully conduct a comprehensive social, economic, educational, and political caste survey. We captured relevant details to establish the marginalisation of different castes, which is essential for formulating targeted policy interventions. The Telangana caste survey serves as a role model. I urge the central government to capture details in the caste census along the lines of Telangana's survey.
