As of today, President Donald J. Trump has not had a single one of his civilian nominees confirmed by unanimous consent or voice vote. If Democrats continue to drag out the confirmation of every single one of the nominations of a duly elected president, then we are going to have to take steps to get this process back on a reasonable footing.

These Republicans are not willing to fight like Democrats, who confirmed countless radical nominees for Joe Biden. Yes, more people are attempting to come across the border now than under previous administrations, but the borders aren't more "open" now, except for Biden ending the harsh "remain in Mexico policy" and COVID restrictions expiring. The problem is that Republicans don’t want to fix the problem. Their goal isn’t to try and solve the issue now. Their goal is to use the issue to make Biden and Democrats look bad. They want to use the border to get Trump elected and then try and fix the problem when Trump is in office. The problem is, they didn’t fix the problem last time Trump was in office, even when they had both chambers of Congress.
