Honoured to attend the historic event in Durgapur today, alongside our respected Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji, and it was a proud moment to witness the foundation stone laying and inauguration of transformative projects worth over ₹5000 crore, covering vital sectors like Oil & Gas, Power, Railways, and Roads. The BPCL City Gas project (₹1950 crore), Durgapur-Kolkata gas pipeline (₹1190 crore), Flue Gas Desulphurization at Thermal Plants (₹1457 crore), Rail Line Doubling (₹390 crore), and Road Over bridges (₹380 crore) are set to boost connectivity, energy security, and ensure clean air in West Bengal. Under PM Modi's visionary leadership, these initiatives mark a new chapter of development for West Bengal. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Hon'ble PM for his commitment towards West Bengal's progress 🙏

Today, I had a highly productive and landmark meeting with the Hon’ble Union Minister of Railways; Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw Ji, right here at Nabanna. Our discussions centered entirely on accelerating the development of Railway Infrastructure in West Bengal. I am absolutely delighted to share that our joint efforts have yielded immediate results, with a flurry of long-awaited and crucial Railway Projects receiving an official GREEN SIGNAL 🟢 which will significantly boost sub-urban and main-line connectivity across North and South Bengal, speed up pending track related works. Modernization of key stations under the Amrit Bharat Scheme will provide world-class amenities to commuters. Overall these works involving thousands of crores of funds would create massive local employment opportunities and give a significant push to our State's economy.
