i can attest to this, as a matter of fact i am surprised the husky didnt run away and you had to chase him for 6 hours. At least thats what mine would do.

We had one of each.....best friends but different as night and day.......

The real surprise is that the husky wasn't a mile in the opposite direction by the time the first BC slipped on the collar.

We dog set our neighbors husky for 2 summers. Quickly learned that we had to “negotiate” with her, not give command’s.

The Husky didn't forget. He just decided the timeline was negotiable. Independent thinkers — great personalities, genuinely different training needs than a Border Collie.

Husky: I see it. I understand it. I just choose to ignore it. Bye.😆

But let’s not get it twisted. They are both AWESOME!!! Will be there when you need them. Love for years!!!!! ❤️ 🐶

I had a Border Collie/Husky mix who was a rescue puppy. She was extremely independent but also wanted to herd & control me & my kids. Lol She was a good babysitter for the smaller furry, 4 legged members of my family 🐾🐾

Is it really fair to compare any other breed to a Border? 🤭 They’re the smartest breed. It’s scary how smart they are. Aussies are pretty damn close.

That dog is simply hotter than the others and doesn't want to do anything other than look for water.

You could add shihtzus to that mix, as well. I've had 4 dogs, and this one is by far the most stubborn of the 4.
