The difference between FF7 Rebirth on the PS5 PRO (left) and the base PS5 (right) feels like I have the PS6. I have compared a lot of games on the PRO and this is by far the biggest upgrade in quality, everything else hasn't been nearly as noticable.

Digital Foundry says Resident Evil Requiem runs best on the PS5 Pro and the only console to have 120fps and RT capabilities. Series X is slightly behind the PS5 base, and the Series S is neck and neck with the Switch 2 muddy blurry mess. #DigitalFoundry #ResidentEvilRequiem

Aha these HDMI sockets in PS5 consoles 😞 PS5 Pro 30th.. The most expensive PS5 Pro in 2026 Unfortunately, the sockets in the ps5 are much weaker than in the 7th generation .. here is a small test of the socket will withstand the judge yourself .. Returnal is still one of the best PS5 games in my opinion, and it definitely deserves more recognition. The atmosphere, soundtrack, world-building, and gameplay loop are all absolutely top-tier. It’s far too often overlooked in conversations about the best games on the PS5.

Have seen a lot of people saying the Tatis throw shouldn’t have been cutoff last night. As the relay guy you line up in a perfectly straight line between the RF and the catcher. If the throw takes you too much in either direction you know the cut is needed. In this instance the throw took him a little too far to the left meaning the throw would’ve been too far up the line to have a chance. He made the right call to cut and relay it home. This is a perfect visual.

In this video, I show you what they really look like and how poor the quality of the HDMI sockets in PS5 consoles. No one does such hardcore and tests as the one you see here and the truth is that these sockets are massively damaged without it. Damaged HDMI sockets are the second most common fault in PS5, right after problems with LM overheating. The scale of the phenomenon is enormous. What really is the cause of this? The answer is simple: the terrible quality of the HDMI sockets themselves and the superficial, factory method of soldering them.

They weren’t kidding about the PS5 Pro having the worst version of MGS3 There’s a ton of shimmering, FPS drops and its a blurry mess. Embarrassingly bad showing of PSSR here, they would’ve been better off just shipping the base PS5 version than even trying, Needs patches ASAP.

Crimson Desert is confirmed to use PSSR 2 on PS5 Pro. "On PS5 Pro, the recent upgrade to PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) makes it possible for Crimson Desert to hit 4K resolutions at higher frame rates, and its raytracing capabilities make lighting effects more realistic and natural."
