Thai people are respectful unlike third world Muslims

We've lived in Hua Hin 12 years , leave our windows and doors open all day even when we leave the house for an hour. Never heard of a break in within our sub district of HH.

Yep. People just leave their expensive carbon road bikes leaning against a fence. If you did that in London it would be gone in seconds.

It's relatively safer, but there's still theft, and some drug addicts, and aggressive drunks now and then. So don't go overboard feeling like it's *perfectly* safe.
